I love the reminder this saying brings to me today.
If you're anything like me, there are days where is easier to concentrate on the messiness, the mistakes of each day instead of concentrating the good things that God brings to us in the midst of each day.

Friend, you may be in the midst of a life crisis or even many life crises today.
You might be at the end of your rope and feel like pulling your hair out.
If that's where you find yourself today, I want to offer you a few verses that carried me along through a recent time of crisis.

Psalm 25:17, "Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish." (NIV)

Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;

he delivers them from all their troubles.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted

and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The righteous person may have many troubles,

but the Lord delivers him from them all;" (NIV)

Sometimes God delivers us from trouble after we have suffered it for a while. We want to think deliverance means we should never suffer hardship, but David clearly says we will: ‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous.’

If we experience hardship for a time, and then see that hardship go away, can we not still say we have been delivered?

Sometimes God delivers us by keeping us from any real harm. He may allow us to be bruised by afflictions, but he will not allow us to be broken (i.e. destroyed) (v. 20) Logos Bible Software 4

Would you be willing to share your encouraging word today?
